Sarah and Drew’s Love Story

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Sarah and Drew fell in love 4 1/2 years ago and have been joined by the hips ever since. We had the opportunity to photograph their engagement session downtown Barrie, Ontario by the waterfront. What’s great about a couple like Sarah and Drew is that they came with some of their own ideas. And we work it into our own style.

Sarah and Drew are artists. Sarah having a background in photography, and working as a hairstylist in Collingwood. And Drew being an up and coming Graphic Designer. It was really important to tie this into their wedding day, as well as their engagement session. So, they will be getting married October 2nd at The MacLaren Art Centre. What a perfect choice for a perfect couple!

Brittany and Dave in love

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

I am so excited about photographing Dave and Brittany’s upcoming wedding at Blue Mountain. Their engagement session was an absolute blast. We headed over to the Old Mill, but truth be told, the most beautiful part of the Old Mill that day was the happiness between this couple, and the way Dave looked at Brittany.

Dave and Brittany live in the states, where he plays in the NHL. I asked Dave if he fights on the ice, because truly, I couldn’t picture it. Not only are they stunning, but they’re both absolute sweethearts. Sorry Dave, hopefully the word doesn’t get out there!!!

Veronica and Eric’s Maternity Session

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Veronica and Eric actually came in last year before i had my blog up and running. Eric is the co-owner of Salon ID, located downtown Barrie. And we had worked together on multiple shoots through the years prior. So when they found out Veronica was expecting, they knew they wanted to always remember how absolutely beautiful she looked! And what better way then through a maternity session. They also asked if they could bring along their “first born”: their dog. And of course, we said yes… in fact we encouraged it.

Nolen Nicholls

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

The Nicholls Family came in to have an updated Portrait taken of themselves. Their son Nolen was a highlight for me. Such a boys boy, full of energy and laughter. And you could see in their parents face how proud and amazed they were by him. Family sessions are fun, and should be a great experience to look back on and cherish.

Skye Woolston

Monday, April 12th, 2010

Among weddings and portraits, I tend to photograph a lot of business head shots. Skye Woolston, a beautiful and talented real estate agent from Prudential LeClair and Associates Realty, was definitely a very enjoyable head shot session for me. It always makes my job easy when people like Skye come into the studio, all smiles and full of joy!

Hook Family

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Right Before Christmas I had the opportunity to photograph the Hook Family. They had so much love and energy that it was impossible to get a bad picture of them. This was shot at the studio (inside and outside in the field). When we do Studio shoots it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be posed and stiff. We want personality to shine thru as well.

Kerry’s Maternity

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

I love photographing belly shots, and a little while back I had the opportunity to photograph the Archer family and help them celebrate their fourth child coming into this world. You can see the love and excitement their children have to meet their new little brother. And even though at this stage of a women’s pregnancy we feel exhausted, Kerry shines!

Tammy & Derek’s Engagement Session

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Tammy and Derek are getting ready with their last minute details for their upcoming wedding August 22nd. But before the big day, the engagement session had to take place first. We stayed downtown Barrie, and it rained. But that just made it more spontaneous. With an umbrella in one hand, and my camera in the next, we walked around Barrie one Sunday morning.IMG_0041 copyIMG_9839IMG_9898IMG_9904IMG_9982
